We are a creative studio for artists.
We are unskrewd – an independent collective and studio driven by creativity and collaboration.
Together with artists, we craft works that connect people.

At unskrewd, we specialize in supporting the entire lifecycle of your creative project - from initial idea, through detailed conceptualization, to thoughtful implementation.
Whether you are an artist, an independent creator or a cultural institution, we provide professional guidance and customized solutions to help bring your vision to life.
Our services are designed to meet the unique needs of artists and cultural creators, offering everything from conceptual development to securing funding and project management.
To best support your creative endeavors, our approach is built on three key pillars – we compose, construct, and produce – ensuring comprehensive guidance at every stage of your project.
Unser Service

“Beyond our services to artists and creators, unskrewd also works collectively on its own artistic projects.“

As part of our work, we produce and perform our own creative works - where our profession meets our artistry.
While our projects span various creative fields, we focus on dance and music related works that push artistic boundaries and foster cultural exchange.
Rooted in urban arts, we produce creative endeavors that explore new narratives, challenge conventions, and create spaces for collaboration and expression.
Our Projects
Haba na Haba
Haba na Haba hujaza kibaba” – little by little fills the measure – inspires patience and growth. In his solo piece, Paul Damiano from Kenya reflects on childhood, playfulness, and life experiences that shaped him. Through dance, he invites audiences to explore memories, celebrate small steps, and see how they build the person we become. Haba na Haba is a joyful, reflective journey through Paul’s life and the wisdom of growing up.
Talking Streets
Here we highlight voices and practices from the urban dance scene in the Ruhr area. Our starting point is to look at what is already there: we accompany collectives and crews and artists throughout the year in their endeavours and ask: what does the urban (dance) scene need to be vibrant and visible?
